Itinerary
DAY 1 (Saturday, July 19, 2025)
Trogir - A Step Back in Time to Medieval Croatia
Your Croatian adventure begins in Trogir, a living museum of a town that seamlessly blends Roman, Romanesque, and Renaissance architecture.
We will explore the city during a guided historical tour, where you’ll walk in the footsteps of ancient rulers and artisans. The highlight of our exploration is the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence.
As we wander through the labyrinthine streets, you’ll be captivated by the white-stone castles and fortified walls that have stood guard over Trogir for centuries. These well-preserved structures offer a glimpse into the town’s strategic importance throughout history and provide a picturesque backdrop for photography enthusiasts.
Our knowledgeable guide will bring the town’s history to life, recounting tales of Venetian rule, Ottoman invasions, and the flourishing of arts and culture that earned Trogir its nickname, “The Stone Beauty.” You’ll have time to explore the charming squares, peek into artisan workshops, and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir to commemorate your visit.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll gather for our first group dinner. This will be an opportunity to savor delicious local cuisine, share your impressions of Trogir, and get to know your fellow travelers. It’s the perfect way to toast the beginning of what promises to be an unforgettable journey through Croatia’s coastal wonders!
(Please note that some nights will be spent on anchor, while others will be spent docked in local ports.)
DAY 2 (Sunday, July 20, 2025):
Skradin - Nature's Symphony at Krka National Park and Anthony Bourdain Dinner
Our journey continues to the charming town of Skradin, a hidden gem nestled at the entrance of the breathtaking Krka National Park. This picturesque settlement, with its pastel-colored houses and tranquil marina, will be our gateway to one of Croatia’s most stunning natural wonders.
The day’s adventure takes us into the heart of Krka National Park, a lush paradise of cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and diverse flora and fauna. As we walk along well-maintained trails, you’ll be treated to a sensory feast: the thundering sound of waterfalls, and the sight of emerald-green waters tumbling over.
The park’s crown jewel, Skradinski Buk, is a series of 17 waterfalls that create a spectacular multi-level cascade. You’ll have time to explore, take photos, and even take a refreshing dip in designated swimming areas, immersing yourself in the park’s natural beauty.
After our invigorating walk through nature, we’ll return to Skradin for a truly special culinary experience. We’ll dine at a local restaurant that was one of the late Anthony Bourdain’s favorite spots. This hidden culinary gem offers a chance to savor authentic Croatian cuisine, prepared with locally-sourced ingredients and time-honored recipes.
(Please note that some nights will be spent on anchor, while others will be spent docked in local ports.)
DAY 3 (Monday, July 21, 2025):
Komiža – Unveiling the Secrets of Croatia's Most Mysterious Island
Our journey continues as we set sail for Vis, an island that remained closed to visitors for decades due to its strategic military importance.
Today, Vis offers a unique blend of history, natural beauty, and authentic Croatian charm, particularly in the picturesque town of Komiža.
As we approach Vis, the island’s rugged coastline and hidden coves come into view, hinting at the secrets it has kept for so long.
For those interested in military history, an optional tour provides a fascinating glimpse into the island’s strategic past. You’ll have the opportunity to explore submarine bunkers carved into the rocky cliffs, silent sentinels of Cold War tensions that once gripped this region.
Our exploration continues to Fort George, a historical site perched high above the island. As you walk through its weathered stone corridors, you’ll be transported back in time to an era of naval battles and island fortifications. The fort’s vantage point offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Adriatic, providing a perfect backdrop for photos and quiet contemplation of the island’s storied past.
Komiža, our home for the night, is the furthest town from the Croatian mainland, offering an authentic slice of old-world Dalmatia. Its narrow stone streets, lined with traditional houses and small squares, invite leisurely exploration. Here, you can experience the unhurried pace of island life, chat with friendly locals, and perhaps sample some of the excellent local wines.
For adventure seekers, the crystal-clear waters around Vis offer excellent scuba diving opportunities. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or a curious beginner, the underwater world of Vis, with its caves, wrecks, and vibrant marine life, promises an unforgettable experience.
As the day winds down, we’ll gather to share stories of our adventures over a meal of freshly caught seafood in one of Komiza’s charming konobas (traditional restaurants).
DAY 4 (Tuesday, July 22, 2025):
Stiniva, Vis – A Hidden Paradise and Exclusive Beach Experience
Today, we unveil one of Croatia’s best-kept secrets: the stunning Stiniva Bay on the island of Vis. Consistently ranked among Europe’s top 10 beaches, Stiniva is a natural wonder that few get to experience in its full glory. Thanks to our exclusive connections, we’ll enjoy this slice of paradise in a way most visitors can only dream of.
As the day progresses, we have a truly special evening planned. Through our local connections, we’ve arranged for the family who owns the small beach restaurant to host us for a private dinner right on the beach.
This intimate gathering under the stars, with the gentle lapping of waves as our soundtrack, promises to be a highlight of our journey. You’ll savor freshly prepared local specialties while enjoying the kind of authentic hospitality that makes Croatia so special.
Before our beach dinner, we’ll also have the opportunity to visit the famous Blue Cave. This natural sea grotto is known for its otherworldly blue glow, created by sunlight reflecting off the white seafloor and illuminating the cave through an underwater opening. It’s a magical experience that adds another layer of wonder to our day in Vis.
This day encapsulates the essence of our journey: exclusive access to breathtaking locations, immersive cultural experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime.
DAY 5 (Wednesday, July 23, 2025):
Korčula – The Little Dubrovnik, Enchanting Birthplace of Marco Polo
Our journey today brings us to the captivating island of Korčula, a place steeped in history and natural beauty. Known as the alleged birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo, Korčula offers a perfect blend of medieval charm, cultural richness, and gastronomic delights.
As we approach the island, you’ll be struck by the sight of Korčula Town, often referred to as “Little Dubrovnik” due to its impressive medieval architecture and strategic coastal position.
The town’s design, with its herringbone pattern of narrow streets, was ingeniously crafted to provide shelter from the winds while allowing sea breezes to circulate. We’ll take time to explore these charming alleyways, each one telling a story of Korčula’s vibrant past.
One of the highlights of our visit is a specially curated wine tour. Korčula is renowned for its excellent wines, particularly the white wine made from the indigenous Grk grape.
We’ll visit local wine makers, learning about the island’s winemaking traditions that date back to ancient Greek times. You’ll have the opportunity to sample a variety of wines, each one a testament to Korčula’s unique terroir and centuries-old viticulture practices.
As the day progresses, we’ll make our way to one of the town’s historic turrets for a magical sunset experience. Here, with panoramic views of the Adriatic and the surrounding islands, we’ll enjoy cocktails as the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant colors. It’s a moment of tranquil beauty that captures the essence of our Mediterranean adventure.
The pinnacle of our day comes with a very special dinner experience.
We’ll travel to a nearby village where a local family will host us for an authentic Korčulan meal. This intimate gathering allows us to immerse ourselves in the island’s culture, enjoying home-cooked dishes made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
From hand-pressed olive oil to traditional peka (a method of cooking under a bell-shaped dome), every flavor tells a story of Korčula’s rich culinary heritage.
We will spend the night docked in a private port.
DAY 6 (Thursday, July 24, 2025):
Hvar – Glamour, History, and Hidden Treasures
Today we set our sights on Hvar, the crown jewel of the Dalmatian Coast. Known for its lavender fields, pristine beaches, and vibrant energy, Hvar offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and contemporary luxury.
Our day begins with a visit to the Pakleni Islands, a stunning archipelago just off Hvar’s southwest coast. These pine-clad islets are a paradise of secluded coves and crystal-clear waters. We’ll anchor in one of these hidden bays, giving you the opportunity to swim, snorkel, or simply bask in the Mediterranean sun.
As we return to the main island, we’ll explore some of Hvar’s famous beach clubs. These stylish venues, set against the backdrop of the sparkling Adriatic, offer a taste of the island’s renowned hospitality and vibrant atmosphere. Whether you prefer to lounge by the sea with a cocktail in hand or dance to the beats of world-class DJs, Hvar’s beach clubs cater to every mood.
The highlight of our day comes as evening approaches. We’ll journey to a UNESCO-protected abandoned village in the heart of the island for an extraordinary dinner experience. This hauntingly beautiful setting, with its centuries-old stone houses and overgrown pathways, provides a stark contrast to the bustling harbor we left behind.
Here, under the stars, we’ll enjoy a specially prepared meal that celebrates Hvar’s culinary traditions. The combination of the village’s ethereal atmosphere and the exquisite local cuisine promises to be an unforgettable experience.
As night falls and we return to our yacht, you’ll have the option to experience Hvar’s legendary nightlife or simply relax on board, reflecting on a day that encompassed both the glamorous and the historic sides of this captivating island.
(The night will be spent docked in a private port.)
DAY 7 (Friday, July 25, 2025):
Split – A Grand Finale in the Heart of Dalmatia
Our extraordinary journey through Croatia’s coast comes full circle as we sail back to Split, the vibrant city where our adventure began. But before we bid farewell to the open sea, we’ll make one last stop at a secluded island bay for a final, memorable swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic.
As we approach Split in the afternoon, the city’s impressive skyline comes into view, dominated by the bell tower of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius and the ancient walls of Diocletian’s Palace. This UNESCO World Heritage site, built as a retirement home for the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, now forms the living heart of Split’s Old Town.
Upon docking, we’ll embark on an exploration of this remarkable historical complex. Walking through the narrow streets and expansive squares of Diocletian’s Palace is like stepping back in time.
As evening approaches, we’ll gather for our final group dinner. This farewell feast will be held in one of Split’s finest restaurants, offering a perfect blend of traditional Dalmatian cuisine and modern culinary innovation. It’s an opportunity to reminisce about our week of adventures, share favorite moments, and toast to new friendships forged during our journey.
For those with energy to spare after dinner, Split offers a vibrant nightlife scene, particularly during the summer months when the city comes alive with festivals and events.
Alternatively, you might choose to take a leisurely stroll along the Riva, Split’s bustling waterfront promenade. Here, you can soak in the lively atmosphere, watch the sunset paint the sky in vibrant hues, and reflect on the incredible experiences of the past week.
Whether you’re exploring Roman ruins, savoring local delicacies, or simply enjoying the Mediterranean ambiance, Split offers a fitting conclusion to our journey, leaving you with lasting memories of Croatia’s timeless beauty and warm hospitality.

Useful Information
Climate and Weather
In July, Croatia experiences exceptionally hot and dry weather. Typically, July stands out as the hottest month of the year, with the sea waters also reaching their warmest temperatures.
Overall, the daily average temperature on the islands is around 80.6°F (27°C), with lows at about 71.6°F (22°C) usually dropping at night.
July also boasts long days, averaging 14 hours of sunshine. With the prolonged daylight, sunsets occur later, often after 8PM and later.
The superyacht is equipped with AC in every cabin and indoor areas, however keep in mind that it can get quite warm outside.
Clothing
Make sure to pack lightweight sundresses, linen shirts and shorts, quick-drying swimwear, and a few nicer summer evening outfits for more formal dinners.
Evenings can get a bit cooler, so don’t forget to bring a light sweater or a shawl.
Importantly, pack sun gear, including wide brimmed sun hats, sun glasses and don’t forget to use sunscreen.
For footwear, consider non-slip boat shoes or comfortable sandals.
You may also want to pack an all white evening outfit as we plan on having a “white party” one of the nights!
Mosquito Repellent
While it’s rare to have any mosquitos while at sea, in some places on land, there might be mosquitoes. Repellant can be bought in Croatia, but if you are allergic to mosquito bites, you might wish to bring some repellent with you just in case.
Electrical Outlets
Croatia uses the standard European two-prong electrical plugs. If you are traveling from the US, a regular travel adapter should suffice for your devices.
